A Sex Curse
Archaeologists have discovered a lead tablet containing a sex curse. The tablet was found in the old city kingdom of Amathus in Cyprus.
The curse was written in Greek and it reads:
"May your penis hurt when you make love."
I wonder what this guy did to deserved such a curse.

It is amazing what Old Testament professors can do and write when they read outside their area of studies.
Good guess, but I do not think the curse has anything to do with sports or a girl. My guess is that this curse reflects the action of a betrayed husband who went to a shaman to put a curse on the man who had sex with his wife.

I tell you why--
That guy refused to circumcise as one of the members of Israel's twelve Tribes:)
Lou,
Good guess, but the tablet was found in Cyprus, not in Israel.

Things you don't expect to read on your Old Testament professor's blog #12.
My guess? Probably had something to do with either sports or a girl.
