I said "seemingly absurd" as in beyond the range of what we can understand fully.
But this does not allow you to drive a whole truckload of assumptions through that small crevice because of Ockham's Razor.
The absurd fact is that none of this makes sense because he is not dealing with the existence of God, but still rails away against his version of Christianity.
