Do You Understand the King James Bible?

Joel Hoffman has prepared a video to test your knowledge of the King James Bible. Before you watch the video, do the following:

1. Find a pen and paper
2. Write your answers as Joel asks the questions
3. Compare your answers with Joel’s answers
4. Then, decide whether you understand the King James Bible

So, how did you do?

3/6.
I found that my brain was trying to translate back into KJV similar to when I try to remember my high school or college Spanish--which isn't very efficient, nor is it always accurate.
I might use this in a Bible class I'm teaching since a student asked about the KJV (v. NIV) last week.
Thanks for sharing.
Keep up the Lord's good work!

Bradley,

I think the problem with the KJV is that most people today do not know Elizabethan English. Thus, many of the words in the KJV are unfamiliar to readers. I hope your students like the video.
